GOODBYE

Color replaces black and white
Familiar faces fade to night
As time does progress
I feel I am less
Than certain now that I am right
But certainty is often rare
Now that I walk
The Road
Less Traveled,
It’s certainly been quite a scare
To watch my world become unraveled
But when ships sail,
They will prevail,
Nothing can curtail their motion
Cross the ocean
To a shore
More foreign than ever before
Now my life has changed forever,
Take this moment just to treasure
Treasure these
Gold memories
And seek out opportunities
that bubble out of distant seas
I swore I’d stay,
But now I swear, that I will meet myself out there,
Where prayer and care and mystery
Will change my life and history
